It's just a filter; no moving parts, does the job its designed to do.
The cardboard frame could be a tad sturdier to withstand the compression encountered as it is installed.

I use these filters in two heat pumps, for both heating and cooling. They're correctly sized, easy to install, and appear to perform as advertised. I've purchased them before and will do so again.

The products ordered are good products, but I ordered 19 3/4 x 21 1/2 x 1. Those were exact measurements. I received 19 3/4 x 21 7/8 x 1. That additional 1/8 inch makes it difficult to install. Next time I will order it 1/8 to 1/4 inch less.

Was afraid that it would cause a "low airflow" alarm, since the original filter (Carrier) was so "open" - horsehair type. Very pleased.

Good all around filter. I found these filters at iaqsource and have been buying them here for two years over the internet. Fast delivery, reasonable price. I use the filter change auto-remind feature available at the web site to remind me when it is time to change my filter, its a great feature.
