Filters are excellent quality and a good value; form, fit and function superior. The carton that they arrived in was oversize and of poor quality / burst strength allowing the filters to be crushed / damaged in transit. I'm using them, but don't like compromised corners / edges.

The original filter is metal rimmed due to a clip in the back that holds the filter in place. A cardboard rimmed filter just gets bent and messed up when attempting to install it due to the clip. It would be nice if there was a removable metal part that could be attached to the filter so that the filter would not get bent and the part could be re-used on the other cardboard filters. There is no way to remove the metal clip in the unit.
