Aprilaire #4119 pleat spacers for air cleaner model 2200 (5-Pack). Spacers clip into the plastic inner housing to hold filter media in place and keep pleat spacing even. Pleat spacers and inner housing can be re-used and only need to be replaced if they are broken or lost.

Someday, I will purchase the upgrade kit. This is get me thru until I need to upgrade. This actually holds the filter down better than the orginal spacers. The fit is tighter or maybe my orginal spacers are just getting too old. I have had this unit for over 15 years.

Heavier product than OEM. Good fit. No problems.Fifty bucks is kind of high for 5 pieces of plastic. Probably cost the manufacturer 50 cents each.

The product seems just fine, except the tabs that click into the frame break very easily. I had to buy new pleat spacers to replace several with broken tabs that appear to have broken when the filter was either removed or installed. When installing the new spacers, two of the tabs broke as I was pushing it into the frame slot... and I didn't push very hard! A poorly designed product!

All of the little clips on the ends of the original spacers had broken off, mainly because they were not very substantial (and maybe because they got brittle with age).
