Stock up on these economic, brand name filters. I prefer to pay this than spend 3 times the amount for Honeywell original filters. Filtration is very important to me since me and my wife are both very allergic to dust and air contaminants so we change both filters in our house every 30 days (it gets expensive). These work really good, but if they had a MERV rating of 10 (like the original Honeywell filters) instead of an 8 they would be much better and I would buy a truckload.

I purchased these furnace filters as replacements for the original filter that came with the unit. They are not quite as high quality as the original filter, but for the price (about 1/3 the cost), they are a great deal.

These filters seem to be a good replacement for the factory original, which are very expensive. With the discounted price of these filters, you can replace them more often. As a result of the savings, I can afford to change more often, which may be a better option than keeping the factory original filters "longer." At this point, I am pleased, and I have (thanks to the lower price) several new replacement filters in RESERVE...something I could not afford when I had to purchase original factory replacement filters. I'm not ready to say they are perfect yet, but they seem to be working fine. Also in their favor is the name recognition of "Lennox," which to my knowledge is a legimitate player in A/C. I believe that the "Honeywell" filters are way overpriced, so I'm glad Lennox stepped up to the plate to deliver a reasonably priced filter. I recommend these filters, and recommend buying in bulk, so that you can replace them often, to keep down the wear-and-tear on your A/C system that is associated with "clogged" filters.

This a very good & cheap air filter. I used to get original Honeywell filters for the same price, but not anymore so I started searching for an alternative. This seemed a good choice, but they have a MERV rating of 8 vs. the original Honeywell filter MERV rating of 10. This means that they filter less of the smaller particles, but they are more efficient since they do not block the airflow as much as the Honeywell filters. Me and my wife are extremelly allergic and this air filter is perfect because it is cheap so we can change it every 6-8 weeks without slimming our wallets too much. Our cooling system is now also more efficient and uses less electricity.
