I have had fit problems with the Trane filters and was concerned about these 'wannabees.' Not to worry, they fit perfectly. The filter material and construction was almost identical to the OEM filter. Although the filter recommends replacement every 3 months, I usually leave them a year or more because I use 3M Filtrete on all my return inlets.

I tried to obtain these from Trane and they chose not to respond to my inquiry. I do not see how they exist. IAQ on the otherhand is just perfect. The cost of the filters is less than what Trane charged me several years ago and, additionally, IAQ's shipping was just perfect. I'll be back.
