I service my AC/Furnace every May-June to achieve the best efficiency from my unit which is only 4 years old. However, this filter when purchased through my local company costs twice as much as through this company. I ordered filters and had the servicemen use it when he came. It was exactly what I had before and fit perfectly. I saved $100 plus, thank you IAQsource!

Do not cheat yourself by trying to purchase some other filter, believe me I've done this and the accumulation of dust in our ducts and home are proof of this! These filters were made by the manufacturer specifically for their units and they are outstanding!
Our oder arrived in a couple of days and they were ready to install right out of the box and even included bags to dispose of the old filters!

This air filter has been hard for me to find otherwise, I was happy to get it online. It is well made and although a bit expensive lasts me about a year. It fits the unit like a glove. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is its price and difficulty in general to get. It is an unusual size I suppose.

Rather than purchase these filters at a premium price from my heating/air conditioning servicer, I found the same filters on-line for a much better price. The filter is the same in every way, and I have effectively cut down on a recurring expense.

We can use only two types of filter on our furnace -- this type and another that expands to be inserted into a frame. The frameless type was a total pain to install in the frame, so this filter is the way to go, but it is more expensive. It really does its job, though!
I love the reminders I receive that it's time to change the filter - I happen to have the filters changed when we have the HVAC service done twice a year, but your reminders help me make sure I have fresh filters for the serviceman when he arrives.

New AC/Heating unit installed in 2003. These filters are very good, easy to replace, and installer said to replace every 6-12 months, depending on air quality in home. I have replaced only with Trane brand filters.
Delivery was prompt and filters are packaged to prevent any damage. We did not use customer service as filter replacement is very simple.
