Takes off the crud, dries to a white powder, buffs off easily, leaves a great shine. The white powder is a bit of dust that you want to get rid of at the end of cleaning, but this inconvenience is worth it for the clean cooktop that you get.

This is the best for glass cook tops. I use a wet paper towel with the cleaner on it, then follow with a dry paper towel twice and buff to a great shine.

This is the ONLY cooktop cleaner that actually works. It takes that ugly grayish black back to crisp clean. I have tried every available cleaner in the stores. Maytag is definately a name to be trusted. They don't put their name on a product that isn't perfect! Worth every penny!!

Besides my cooktop, I tried this on my glass shower door. I have never had a product clean the soap from this door like this. It leaves the door sparkling and clean with one application.
I would like to see a spray form of this for my windows and glass door.

I just remodeled my kitchen and put in a glass top stove. After the first week I was dismayed as to how to keep my cook top clean. I was even contemplating getting an old coil top stove back. After talking to the manufacturer this was recommended and it is perfect. Make sure your top is cool and it will work perfectly every time!!!!

We have a lot of kids, and our cooktop has suffered because of it. We've used Comet and some similar cleaners to "spot clean" it, but they were never able to remove the cooked on stains.

I decided to try some of this on a whim, and it worked great (but not without some effort). A first pass with this cleaner got rid of many of the burnt spots, but the built-up areas remained. So, per the instructions on the bottle, I used a metal scraper to scrape most of the thicker spots down, and then used this cleaner. That absolutely did the trick. Our cooktop looks exactly the way it did when we bought it (before our kids were permitted to use it).

A word of caution, however. If your cooktop is in bad shape be prepared to put in a LOT of elbow grease. I had to do mine in sections to get it all cleaned properly. But it was absolutely worth it.
