I used two tablets and although the musky odor dissipated abit, I achieved better odor removal by simply leaving the door open to let the washer dry out after a full cycle. Lucky for me that my washer is hidden behind bi-fold doors and therefore my no cost solution will work in the future. I was very disappointed that product didn't work better.

I've used the product several times. I really like the fresh clean smell that results from using this very easy to use tablet in my front load washer. I now use it monthly or after washing small area rugs or anything that has an odor.

My Kenmore HE does start to smell after a month or so of normal use. These tablets do alleviate the smell and appear to clean, but this does not last for long. I have tried to run the washer with just bleach (no clothing or anything) to no avail. Because these seem to be the only thing on the market to clean HE washers, I use them. They aren't cheap but they do work. I just wish they worked for a longer period of time.

My washer is 17 years old, and for the past several years, it has smelled so bad--from detergent and soft rinse buildup. I tried large quantities of bleach, boiling water, and baking soda, but nothing worked. I found Affresh through an internet search and ordered it. I used it, and finally the smell is gone! I had been at the point of calling in a service rep to clean the washer at considerable cost, but Affresh saved me from having to do this. So it saved me a lot of money. I will definitely purchase Affresh again and would recommend it to others who are having the problem of a "stinky washing machine."
It is advertised for high efficiency washers, but mine is just a regular washer--it worked just fine.

Even though Affresh is made for HE washers, I bought this cleaner because it was also recommended for top-loading washers that smell bad. I used two of the three tablets in hot water as the instructions suggested, but the sour odor in my washer remains. I'm reluctant to buy more of this product since it didn't seem to help with my stinky problem.
