We use this filter in our Amana Frig. It is extremely easy to replace and immediately improves the taste of the water. I couldn't ask for a better filter. One of my favorite aspects is the fact that the taste of water does not decline over use. It remains constant until it needs to be replaced.

Doesn't have a "change filter" indicator (not usually found on the filter, but on the inside refrigerator cartridge...)
Very easy to install.
Lasts 6 months.
Could be more reasonably priced, since it must be changed every 6 months for as long as you own the refrigerator and use the water dispenser.
