If your Ice Cubes are coming out hollow and there isn't much water pressure in the dispenser, you are well past the time to change your filter...wow, what a difference. It was so easy to install- no mess or tools needed. You might even be inspired to clean the fridge:)

The first thing I have to say about this replacement is the price is great. It does the same job as the expensive brand name we had in there. The biggest pro was that as soon as I installed it, water was FLOWING through the spout on our fridge, where it trickled from the old filter. That tells me I was long overdue. We have Well Water, so there is a noticeable taste improvement.
The only con was that that filter doesn't fit quite as snug as the previous one. The old one felt like it was really in there tight. This one felt loose in comparison. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out if I had installed it wrong.
Delivery was prompt. Product as described. Great price. Original factory wrapping. I will buy again!

So far, so good. We use well water and treat it from the well before it comes into the house. However the water is very soft. These filters make the water taste very good and remove any additional 'stuff' that we don't want to drink.
Does not remove all of the salt added from the softener....

I had not replaced the refrigerator filter for over a year and noticed that the water tasted of chlorine. I've been looking for a replacement filter at a discount price. Of course, I was sceptical that this product would do as well as the original filter: it fits perfectly and definitely improved the taste of the water and ice cubes.
