AquaFresh Replacement for Whirlpool 4396701 Filter - (AKA NL120V) - 3-Pack AquaFresh brand water filters use advanced filtering technology to turn tap water info great tasting water! AquaFresh filters remove the turbidity (taste and odor), sediment, dirt, rust, and chlorine. This is a great Top Mount, Quarter-Turn, Ice/Water Filter. This filter retains beneficial fluoride. Make sure to replace your filter every 6 months. The o-rings on the filter are pre-lubricated at the factory. The package of silicone lubricant is no longer included with the filter as indicated in the installation instructions. Reduces: Chlorine taste and odor Sediment Dirt Rust Installation Instructions: Filter is located in the base grille. To change the filter make one quarter turn to the left. Pull old filter out, replace with a new Whirlpool Ice and Water Filter. The o-rings on the filter are pre-lubricated at the factory. The package of silicone lubricant is no longer included with the filter as indicated in the installation instructions. Here is Austin the city water is not very good. I recently moved here and was thinking I would get large recyclable bottles from the supermarket. Then I was cleaning the outside of the fridge and realized there was a filter system. I got on line and found the right model number and the AquaFresh was a little cheaper but compatible. They are perfect. My water tasted good immediately! I use lots of water and ice so I will probably need to change it more often than the recommended time of 3 months, but that's okay. The reasonable price makes that possible. [...] GREAT!!!
