Besides my refridgerator being a lemon the Brita replacement filters work just as good as the original, install easily, and are much more cost effective than the OMC filters.

This is the second time I've bought this 3 pack. The first time was a great experience the 2nd not so much. The first filter I tried didn't work. The thing was clogged from the beginning. I need to return that one.

The Brita refrigerator water filter fit perfectly. I installed the filter several weeks ago without problem. The municipal water in Phoenix is high in mineral content. I noticed slightly clearer ice cubes. The water and ice cubes taste fine. I was happy at the cost savings buying three filters and purchasing through Filter Outlet.

I was concerned initially that the Brita filter was not a good fit because it screws onto the fridge very loosely. The Maytag filters had a very tight snug fit.

However, I have used the Brita filter for almost 1 month and there has been no leaks so the loose fit did not cause a problem.

The Brita replacement for the Maytag UKF7003AXX is roughly one-half inch longer (top to bottom) than the original Maytag filter. Some adjustment of the refrigerator's top shelf might be needed. Water quality seems as good as the Maytag though.

This filter replaced the original filters shipped with my maytag refridgerator. These were the cheapest on the internet and the taste is better. I can't speak for the durability or how long they will last as I have only had this for a month. I would definitely purchase these from this company again.

I thought initially the Brita would not fit our Jenn Aire fridge since the fit did not seem as snug as the Maytag brand filters. Just a 1/4 turn, didn't feel like it was 'in', but so far no leaks. My neighbors, who noticed a decline in taste our city's water, drink only bottled water now. They think the Brita-treated water from our fridge eliminates most of the funky taste.

I'm surprised the cost of refrig filters has gone up.
