I was looking for the water filter. Normally, one water filter is little expensive until I come into this site. I compared the prices between one and three pack filters. I saved about 25 dollars for 3 pack if I purchased the individual filter 3 times. So long term for me is I will not need to order another one until approxmiately one year and half. Great stuff!

A tip for other consumers: I write the date I need to change the filter on the filter to remind me when 6 months are up.

This was a replacement filter. Works good. GE refrigerator instructions said to replace the filter once a year. Six months is more like it. Price here is better than buying off the shelf at your local store.

I thought I needed to replace my icemaker, but the whole problem was resolved in just replacing this filter...which I had never done in the 7 years I have owned my GE Artica. Lost the book, in a move, and should have ordered another, and would have known the importance of replacement of the filter.

Was the exact, GE made filter. I ordered the three pack to save money
Product delivered very quickly. Customer service (phone) was very knowledgable about the product. It can be confusing because GE changed some of the model numbers of its water filters.

It is identical with the original filter; since we liked the performance of the original, why buy a different one? We knew it was going to fit very nicely, which it did. We are very pleased and plan to use it in the future.

Its a water filter for my side-by-side refridgerator.
I recently purchased a 3 pk of water filters from filter-outlet as I found them to be less expensive than other companies. I ordered the filters with standard shipping and that is what I received. The filters arrived with in about 3 business days in a neatly packaged box. Each filter was in its manufactured box and was sealed as they were all brand new... I recommend going through filter-outlet if you are looking for professional service while trying to save a buck or two.

As an active person training for triathlons, running races, tennis and outrigger canoe paddling, I need to stay hydrated and this filter makes one of my concerns of possibly drinking contaminated water with bad minerials something not to have to worry about again. Why buy water bottles when your own tap water is probably safer now with the installation of the filter. I highly recommend.

I paid the extra for the OEM replacement part mostly due to the negative posts on this site about the Brita filters. To me, it's worth the few extra dollars to get a product that works as intended, and this filter did just that.
