The LG LT600P Filter improves the taste and odor of the water and removes the following impurities: 91.2% of Mercury at pH 8.5 96.7% of Mercury at pH 6.5 99.35% of Lead at pH 6.5 99.31% of Lead at pH 8.5 95.9% of Atrazine 96.3% of Benzene 93.06% of 2,4-D 99.09% of Lindane 99.99% of Cysts 99.3% of Turbidity 99.9% of Particulates (Class I) 97.6% of Chlorine Taste & Odor Does Not Remove Fluoride For cleaner, fresher water and ice, the LG Water Filter LT600P should be replaced: Every 6 months or When the filter change indicator light comes on or If the refrigerator has not been used for more than two weeks (for instance, during a move) or If you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water or ice. Easy to Change (Install on cold water line only) Rotate cartridge 1/4 counterclockwise Pull cartrigde out Insert new cartridge, rotate 1/4 turn clockwise *For Use with All LG Refrigerators except for LSC26905TT and Counter Depth Side by Side Models Filter Specifications: Temperature: 33°-100°F (0.6°-37.8°C) Pressure: 30-120 psi (207-827 kPa) Flow Rate: 0.5 gpm (1.89 lpm) Capacity: 300 gallons (1,135 liters) Function: Chemical/Mechanical Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 Model 5231JA006B-S for the reduction of Nominal Particulate Class I and Chlorine Taste and Odor and against NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of Cysts, Turbidity, Lead, Mercury, Lindane, Atrazine, 2, 4-D and Benzene. WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Change the filter cartridge every six months. Failure to follow installation, operation and maintenance instructions may result in property damage caused by water leakage and will void warranty. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts. California Department of Health Services Certification 03-1588. For conditions of use, health claims certified by California Department of Health Services and replacement parts, see Performance Data Sheet. EPA Established Number 070595-MEX-001. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of property damage due to water leakage: Read and follow Use instructions before installation and use of this system. Install on COLD water lines only. Comply with all state and local plumbing codes. Install a pressure limiting device and water hammer arrester for inlet water pressures exceeding 80 psi. (Refer to Uniform Plumbing Code, Sections 608.2 and 609.10) Never install or operate where inlet water pressure may exceed 120 psi (827kPa) Protect filter from freezing. Remove filter in temperatures below 33°F (0.6°C). MUST be replaced every 12 months.
