This filter is a interchangeable with the DA29-00003B. What will the Aqua-Pure Plus Filter do for me? Provide cleaner, fresher water and ice by removing the following: Chlorine Taste and Odor Particulate Mercury Lead Cyst Carbofuran p-Dichlorobenzene Asbestos Benzene Turbidity *Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 in Model DA61-00159A-B for the reduction of claims specified on the Performance Data Sheet. When do I change my filter? On models with a filter indicator light: The filter should be replaced when the filter indicator light turns red, every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in the flow of water. When the filter is replaced, reset the indicator by pressing the Ice Type button and the Child Lock (or Moisture Control) button simultaneously for 3 seconds. On models without a filter indicator light: The filter should be replaced every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in the flow of water. This is a terrific product. Because of the high quality filtration - and great taste of the water - we cancelled our bottled water service. Savings is terrific. And even my wife and daughter can easily replace the filter when the indicator light notifies us of the need to do so.

Tried a replacement water filter that was less expensive and readily available locally. It was plain awful - just like our heavily chlorinated tap water. Quickly ordered the Samsung Aqua-Pure after trying to let the filter "settle" to no avail after 2 weeks, and right after the "throw away water" upon installation of an new filter, the water tasted clean and wonderful again.

This was a replacement filter for my Samsung refrigerator. The service was very good. The new filter was actually easier to put in then the old one we removed. The only negative is that the price increased--replaced a filter that was over 1 year old so the quality was very good. This is the second time we have used this company and will use them again.
