This filter is used for Whirlpool® side-by-side refrigerators with turn access through the front base grille. They do a great job of reducing cysts, asbestos, chlorine's taste and odor, particulates, lead, mercury and more. It also retains beneficial fluoride. Model is NSF certified so it ensure consumers they are drinking clean, safe water. Make sure to replace your filter every 6 months. Installation Instructions: Filter is located in the base grille. To change the filter make one quarter turn to the left. Pull old filter out, replace with a new Whirlpool Ice and Water Filter.
