You know how it is...ice makers just quit working after a couple of years. I had company over when mine quit working. Nothing like not having enough ice for drinks when it is hot outside. We ordered the new ice maker, my husband installed it within maybe 30 minutes and we had a very full ice maker in the next couple of days. Thanks! You just can't go without ice for long when it is hot.

Part was exactly like original. Only problem was that power cord was short. Ended up splicing old cord with new cord. Works flawlessly

Works great and starting making ice shortly after I installed it. No problems at all. It makes a lot of ice. I had to use the cover from my original ice maker because the new one was a little too wide, however this is not serious issue and I now have a new ice maker at a great price.

Only problem was the wiring was 1/2" too short. Used wiring from old icemaker.

The icemaker was the correct replacement unit for my refrigerator and was quick and easy to install. One problem is the new wire harness supplied is 1" too short. I had to reuse the old harness and luckily the thermister was OK. The manufacturer should make the new harness an inch or so longer as it is a waste as it is. Once installed the icemaker works great.

My old ice maker worked, but did not always eject cubes because tray lining (teflon?) had deteriorated. Therefore water overflowed and built a column of ice behind the bucket and in the bucket jamming the door mechanism. New unit was half the price of [...], practically identical, easy to install, and works great!!!

The instructions could have been more complete. I messed up the electrical connector cause I couldn't figure out how to get it disconnected. Luckly I was able to use the included connector and splice it into the connector that I messed up. Hopefully it lasts.[...]

Tried many ways to fix my old ice maker, for our Kenmore refrigerator. Was leaking badly. Most replacement part stores-Sears Parts, Parts Select, etc. had a replacement unit for twice the price. I have used those other stores before and am glad they are avaiable when needed. However, for the ice unit replacement, this was a great option. This model is the recommended replacement and works very well, so far. Since I had played around with the other unit trying to fix it, It was easy for me to replace. Could use better instructions, primarily for how to make sure the cord and bar need to engage. Even if I need to replace this in the future, I will still break even, given the cost.

This ice maker fit perfectly, and worked right out of the box. It also has a better coating on the ice tray, that looks like it will no peel like the original.
