The icemaker installed easily but would not work. I checked the power supply & there was no power. After contacting subzero and getting wiring diagram I found there was a thermal fuse in the line that was blown. I cut out old fuse and spliced into the line the fuse that came with the Icemaker on the extra plug in cord that was included. It worked OK then. Nowhere is there any mention of a thermal fuse in the power line for the icemaker which I believe should be.

My old icemanker started leaving little black chips in the ice cubes.Part of the back hinge was beginning to disintegrate. This replacement went in easily, without even having to shut off the water supply. Worked like a charm from the start.
