Just got the shower filter in chrome and it matches my showerhead perfectly. I have only been using it for 2 weeks but have noticed less red residue on my tub and shower curtain. I have very sensitive skin and it seems to help with redness as well. I would recommend this product, though I cannot comment on filter life or long term use.

I was noticing that the water from my shower was affecting my scalp and decided to do something about it. I assumed it was the chlorine in the shower. I also noticed an orange residue in my bathtub which I attritubed to the water from the shower. Since I have installed this product I have noticed there is no longer the orange residue, but I also feel a slight difference in a refresment which I attribute to the shower head filtering out the chlorine. I also noticed a slower reduction in water flow from the shower head, because the water is now going through both the shower filter and another shower head which I have purchased that has multiple settings. In summary, I would recommend this product if you feel the water in your shower if affecting you.
