Searched the net and finally came upon this website. Very good info and makes it easy to determine the best product value for my needs. The generic filters are good enough for my AC/ Heat unit but at almost half the cost. The construction is not as robust as the factory brand, [...], but each filter was a bit crushed. That initially concerned me, but they fit in the unit OK. May have been a problem, but I was able to un-bend each one. I will buy them again. [...]

Looked exactly like the original equipment filter. I am very pleased and will purchase again. One thing to note....the direction arrows point up on one side and down on another. Make sure that you observe how the old one is installed and put this one exactly like it.

This substitute appears to be the same as the item replaced EXCEPT the air flow direction indicated is BACKWARD, This could cause material to flow to the evaporator in the air handler if installed that way.
