*The UKF7003AXX and UKF7002AXX have a filter change idicator and, therefore, have a higher capacity than the UKF7001AXX which does not.

The Maytag PuriClean Filter provides the highest quality water and ice for you and your family right from the refrigerator door by reducing the following:

Also, the quick change design allows for easy replacement without tools, spills or mess.

Installation:

1. Leave the refrigerator door open while removing and installing filters and plugs. As an added precaution, the icemaker can be turned off by raising the wire lever arm into the up/off position.
2. Rotate the filter 1/4 turn counterclockwise, as viewed from the bottom, to disengage the filter.
3. Pull down gently on the filter to remove it. Do not tip the filter to prevent water from spilling inside the refrigerator. Dispose of the filter.
4. Remove the packaging from the new filter. Insert the new filter and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise. Do not turn past "stop".
5. Close the refrigerator door. Lower ice maker wire lever arm, if previously raised.
6. Open the refrigerator door and check the filter area for leaks.

This Maytag filter has been tested and certified by NSF International in model UKF7003AXX against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 for the reduction of claims on the Performance Data Sheet.

* Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of uknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.

*It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement requirements be carried out as scheduled for this product to perform as advertised.
