Advanced Filtration Technology

This WaterSentinel refrigerator water filter contains a compressed carbon block which provides tremendous capacity to remove and/or reduce impurities and sediment that may be present in your drinking water.  The carbon block has millions of active sites on it's surface and within the structure which can absorb impurities like a sponge, and can absorb and hold other types of impurities on it's surface like a magnet.  Additionally this filter can catalytically breakdown other impurities very similar to the way a catalytic converter works in your automobile.  These processes ensure that you are getting the cleanest and best tasting water possible.

This filter should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, without adequate disinfection before and or after the filter.

This filter has been tested by the manufacturer against ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for the reduction of Chlorine, Tastes and Odors.

Installation Instructions:

1. Turn off the ice maker in your refrigerator (refer to owners manual if needed)
2. Remove existing filter by turning filter cup, located inside your refrigerator counter clockwise, multiple turns
3. Pull out the out filter
4. Wash the filter cup with warm water and liquid soap, then dry
5. Remove shrink wrap from the new filter
6. Apply a dab of Silicone Lubricant (included) and spread evenly on O-ring of filter
7. Insert filter into filter cup, O-ring end should be facing up
8. Insert cup with filter into refrigerator and turn clockwise until cup is seated firmly
9. Turn on refrigerator ice maker
