This PuR® Fast-Fill Filter was made for Whirlpool® side-by-side refrigerators with push button and provides easy access through the front base grille. It does a great job of reducing chlorine taste and odor, particulates, lead, mercury and more. It also retains beneficial fluoride. This model is NSF certified which ensures consumers they are drinking clean, safe water. Make sure to replace your filter every 6 months.
Installation Instructions:
Locate filter beneath freezer door
Push button firmly until filter pops out
Remove cap from filter by twisting counterclockwise
Reinstall cap on new filter and remove red caps from end of filter
Insert new filter in refrigerator and push in firmly until it clicks in place
*If your refrigerator has the "Fast Fill" or "PUR Measure" features, use the PUR Deluxe 4396841 Refrigerator Filter. If not, you can use the 4396710 refrigerator filter.

Without the filter, I cannot drink our city water and buying it would be costly and inconvenient. I mainly use it for drinking, coffee, and for ice. I will only use water from the faucet if it needs to be boiled.Since the impurities are not visible, I change my filter at the designated time.
