We use this filter for all of our drinking water, coffee, tea, ice, etc., and I can't say enough good about this faucet mount filter. I had tried all the others (totally gave up on PUR when mold consistently showed its ugly head from the time of one filter to the next right where the water exited the filter,) and never found another one as good as this GE. The filter is hard to unscrew when it comes time to change it as the seal gets very tight over time, but I can live with that. And the retailer lived up to all my expectations. Thank you for an easy and seamless transaction and quality product that lives up to its name and specs.

Higher quality housing and mechanism than Brita and PUR, lasts much longer (the others hardly lasted longer than a filter cartridge). Diverter valve is metal, not plastic. I don't know why they stopped carrying this filter at the big retail stores, but its worth the wait to get one online if you want a faucet filter. The others are JUNK.
