Easy Installation:
Use the finger tabs underneath the housing to turn the filter counterclockwise, Discard the old filter. Insert new filter cartridge into housing and turn until it stops.
Flush filter for 10 minutes after installation to remove any harmless carbon fines from the system. It is recommended to flush system for 3 seconds prior to each use.
IMPORTANT
*Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of uknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
*Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 in Model GXFMO4FBL. See Performance Data Sheet for specific claims.

Although I am not a big fan of GE for the obivous reasons, this filter beats PUR Water filters anytime. PUR water filters almost bancrupted me, plugging up after a few weeks' use. I am sure it was designed that way to make a quick bucks. This is good, better filer, durable, and lasts much longer. Distributor is very good also, fast service and good price.

Fairly easy installation although occasionally filters sometimes are tight & difficult to get off. But that isn't a big deal. Water flow is somewhat slow but faster than other faucet filters I've used.
