Installation Instructions: 1). Turn off the water to the filtration system 2). Remove the old filter cartridge. Insert replacement into the base of the unit, press and turn clockwise until filter tab is aligned with the system icon 3). Warning: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe of or unknown quality
Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 in model GXFM07H. See SXFM07H Use & Care Manual for the reduction of the claims specified on the Performance Data Sheet.
NOTE: The FXMLH filter will NOT work with the older GXFM03C and GXFM04FBL faucet filter systems.

filter works better than the original filter I got with the unit I bought. Works very well..no trickle. Nice flow of water. I hope there's a filter in this filter...that's how well it works:)

I wish GE would publish some guidelines as to how long this filter will last (how many gallons of water does it treat ?). Also, upon filter replacement I had to remove an install the battery to reset the blinking light from red to green (just changing the filter did not accomplish this)

A little bit skeptical of this product. don't know whether it is genuine GE products or not? but I have no way to test it. Anyway installation is easy.

Used daily to provide fresh drinking water for our 3 dogs and 5 cats so we use it a lot therefore the lifespan is not on par with the manufactures expectations. It's the only filter that will function with our low pressure well water system. All others produce just a dribble.

Of all the faucet filters this one seems to be the best value for the dollar, the easiest to replace, and have simple instructions. Even my kids can change the filter - bonus.
